US Mexico Chamber of Commerce
        Task Forces- South East

 

In 2008 the south east chapter created  the task force initiative for 12 specific industries aimed at aggressively pursuing and identifying specific  business opportunities for American businesses in the south east states.

The sectors for which task forces have been created are:

Membership of the Task Force

All members of the US Mexico Chamber of Commerce’s 18 chapters across America and Mexico are invited to participate in one or more industry task forces.

 Purpose: To identify industry and company specific business opportunities in Mexico  for members of the binational chamber. Leveraging the intelligence of members in all 18 chapters in Mexico and America, the task forces will call on all members to refer  business opportunities to other Chamber members.

 The  9 chapters and their members in Mexico have abundant knowledge about local service and product sourcing requirements of businesses and governments . Chapter members in the US can contribute through their own market intelligence , much of which may come from Chamber sponsored  trade missions.

 Task Force Operations.

Each task force is chaired by a  South East Chapter member supported by a task force secretariat located at the head office of the South East Chapter.

 
Meetings and Communication

 All communication  between members and the secretariat will be by telephone and email. A task force specific  webs site will be establish for exclusive use of the members.

 A task force annual working meeting will be  held in concert with the South East chapter annual meeting


Method of Operations

The task force will define the export services and prtoducts  provided by task force members ONLY available for export to Mexico. 

The task force will communicate these servoices and prtoducts to ALL US Mexico Chamber of Commerece membesr in the US and Mexico. 

The task force will call on all US Mexico Chamber membesr to  give fiurst preference to Chamber members if purchaisng  identified services and products on their own account  and to strongly recommend these services and products  to other businesses and governments.

MEMBERS WILL PROMOTE SERVICES AND PRODUCTS OF OTHER                                                     MEMBERS.

Member to Member compensation for assistance will be determined between members only.
